Well we are at Palisades State Park. We came down for the Manti Pageant again. We are in a full hookup spot, which is always nice. We really like this campground. It has to be one of our favorites. We arrived around 4:30pm it’s only about 1.5 hours from Spanish Fork. We are here with Paul and his family. The kids went into the lake soon after we arrived, with tubes and life jackets. They had fun! Afterwards Michelle and her family showed up. They towed the Team Teasdale moving trailer with Pauls go-kart and everyones bikes. The kids were so excited to get their bikes. Some of the kids got their Jr. Ranger badges. Trenton and Valerie were the first to get them. They each got a booklet from the Park Ranger and they had to do so many activities in the book according to their age. Afterwards they had to pick up a small bag of garbage. They enjoyed doing it. That night Dave and I layed on his hammock under the stars. Ryan wouldn’t go to sleep, so around midnight I bundled him up in his Mickey and we walked around the campground twice until he fell asleep. Oh what fun!

This morning the kids woke up around 8:30am and we made pancakes. Afterwards Paul took Trenton and some other kids for a bike ride around the lake. I went for a run around the lake. I ran into those guys it was a fun run.  Before lunch we walked around the lake as a family and got some really nice pictures. We had lunch with Michelle and Ken and their Family and Mick and Avril. During our walk Ryan fell asleep so he took a nap. Dave and Ken went Golfing while the other kids went swimming. Mick, Avril and Gran came up and were visiting with us, we visited with them for awhile.  Around 6:30pm we went into Manti to get seats at the Temple grounds and to get Dinner from the locals. First we went to the craft fair. Small but always fun to look and walk around. After laying our blankets on some chairs, we walked down and got some dinner. YUM YUM.
Trenton and Valerie got pizza and Dave, Alexis and I got the Turkey dinner. So good! We also bought the kids some LDS t-shirts. Valerie and Ryan got wands. We were heading back to our seats, when Paul told us we have moved. So we are walking through all the people and chairs to our new spot. Michelle and Ken and Paul with 3 of his kids and Trina’s parents and Sister Michelle with her 3 girls were sitting there. After a while, I noticed that Valerie wasn’t around. I asked everyone if they had seen her or if she was sitting by them. She wasn’t anywhere! So we all started looking for her we were talking to the pageant people to have them help in the search. Alexis and Kaitlyn were looking through the crowd. I was in a panic! My Valerie! Soon I heard they had found her. What a relief! Alexis had found her crying and standing on a chair talking to a nice man. I was so happy to see Valerie in Alexis’ arms. The pageant was nice and the evening was cool. Ryan didn’t want to sit still so Dave and I ended up walked around with him. He finally fell asleep and Dave and I could enjoy the pageant.

Today is Emma's 9th Birthday! I was able to go running around the lake again. I was hoping Trina was going to come with me, but she ran on her own. Packed up to go and the kids spend the time riding bikes and hunting for treasures. They all enjoyed the trip. Had lots of fun in the lake and on the trails. The geo caching was really fun. The family's favorites are as follows:

Dave:  the bike ride around the lake with Valerie and the Family hike around the lake.
Sabrina: Morning runs around the lake and being with Dave on the hammock
Alexis: taking the blow-up boat on the lake with Marisa
Trenton: Hunting with the GPS -geo caching and rowing the boat.
Valerie: Catching frogs and riding bikes
Ryan:  Sitting in Keira's baby walker
