Teasdale Travels: June 2006

7^thWell tonight we are 10 miles out of Moab, Utah. We have driven down here for a hummer convention. Since Paul owns a H1. We drove the hummer towing our trailer and he drove his motor home towing his trailer with all of our bikes and the two go-carts. It has been pretty hot and when we got here it said it was over 100degrees HOT. Soon after we checked in a huge wind/sand storm blew in. I mean it was HUGE! You could watch it blow in. I lasted about 30 min and then was over. After we had dinner the kids rode their bikes and the big boys got the go carts going and they took the kids for one fun ride! So, we are here for about 5 days so we shall see what we'll do tomorrow! Not swimming in the pool here – its filled with sand after that storm.

8^thToday the kids went with Paul and his family to hike the Arches. They were gone until the afternoon. It was a long hike but Paul said they didn't complain. Dave isn't feeling well, so he stayed in bed most of the day. I went with Paul and took Valerie on a go-cart ride. It was a lot of fun. While we were out there dark clouds started rolling in. By the time we were done riding the go cart,, it was starting to sprinkle. But we had to put them in Paul's trailer, and there was bikes in the way. We had to move things around so they would fit. I had my bike with a kid trailer on it and told Valerie to get in it so she wouldn't get wet. It was pouring by this time, and Valerie was screaming her head off. By the time we got the go – carts in it was a monsoon! I had to ride my bike back to our trailer with Valerie screaming her head off the whole time. That night we went into Moab and drove around trying to find something so we went to Dennys YUCK Dave is still feeling sick so he is in Bed. :/

9^thDave is still felling horrible so Alexis and Trenton went with Paul and his family to hike Canyon Lands. A longer hike than yesterday. Valerie and Ryan and I went for a bike ride around the campground. It was fun pulling them in the bike trailer. Ryan kept sliding down. I had to keep stopping to adjust him. It was fun. After the kids got back we BBQ'ed some hamburgers – YUM! Dave was feeling a little better so we went out with Paul on the go-carts They had a blast.

10^thToday is the Hummer Convention. Dave got up at 7:15 to be ready. He is still feeling horrible. I told him to ask Paul for a blessing and he did and Paul did do it. I hope it helps him today :/ Trenton is very excited to go. Alexis is a little upset because Marisa is going and not her. Well they came back and Dave is doing better. They said it was a little too long but they had fun. It was fun climbing over the rocks. Dave and I got to go on a go-cart ride by ourselves. That was nice since we haven't really done anything together, since we've been here.

(Alexis ) We had a campfire tonight. We were singing camp songs about the whole time... but then it got annoying after awhile. We had s'mores it was yummy! We stayed up till 10 o'clock! It was cool

( Trenton ) Me and Tyler like to catch lizards and grasshoppers to eat no on june 10 we fed a grasshoppers and they ate them! Awesome! One lizard had a tail and one didn't have a tail.

June 20^th

Today we left to go to the Bodine family reunion near cedar city. Its about a 4 hour drive. We are staying at Pinewoods Resort. Its 31 miles from cedar city. Its nice to see all of my family. Uncle – Aunts and such. It was a climb those 31 miles! When we finally got to the turn off to the resort, my mom and dad were waiting at the corner! So when we saw them we knew we were at the right place As we turned off we realized that my brother adam had been following us up the mountain! HA We arrived just in time for dinner. It was pretty good. The resort is a far cry from a resort. No grass. No pool, no fun activities. Boring! So we just sat around and visited.

June 21^st My kids made bead keychains and necklaces with my Aunt Debbie. They enjoyed that. We had lunch with my brothers -Adam and Jared and with Jareds family. There was a talent show tonight. It was neat to see what they can do. My grandpa played the guitar. :)

June 22^nd

Today we left. Adam and Jared are coming to visit. Yeah. Very happy about that it will be nice to have my brothers with me at my house. It was a nice reunion Tomorrow is Alexis' birthday she's 11!
